Level 2 Gardener

Our client is currently seeking a Permanent Level 2 Gardener.
You will be working as part of the team and is expected to use the full range of horticultural tools, equipment and machinery. Also, to support with all other tasks and activities required in line with the role of a horticultural operative
You will also have responsibility for providing an inclusive working environment. In addition, to provide ongoing support and guidance to lower graded employees as well as new and temporary members of the team. To offer coaching and mentoring as and when required.
Essential Skills & Experience
•Hold a full driving licence for vehicles over 7.5t
•NVQ level Two in Horticulture or equivalent
•Hold a full driving licence
•Experience of all horticultural related equipment, tools and machinery
•Demonstrate correct planting techniques for full range of plants
•Identify and correctly name a wide range of plants
•Hold appropriate qualification in use of relevant machinery
•Hold appropriate and current certification for the application of pesticides.
•Able to set out standard sports pitches from scratch
•Ability to produce work from plan
Working hours will be 34 - 40 hours per week.
